Self Recuperative Burners
Recover exhaust heat. Reduce fuel use. Fit smarter into compact furnace spaces.
Encon Self Recuperative Burners integrate heat recovery within the burner itself.
By using hot flue gases to preheat incoming combustion air, they help reduce fuel consumption, improve thermal efficiency and support lower-emission industrial heating.
Designed for furnace applications where space is limited, they offer a compact, efficient alternative where conventional regenerative burner systems may not be practical.

Fuel Reduction
A smarter way to use heat already being produced.
In many furnace applications, valuable heat leaves the system through exhaust gases.
A self recuperative burner captures part of that heat and transfers it to the incoming combustion air before firing. This preheated combustion air reduces the amount of fresh fuel required to reach the desired process temperature.
The result is better fuel efficiency, lower operating cost and reduced greenhouse-gas emissions — depending on furnace temperature and process parameters.
Compact heat recovery, built into the burner.
Integrated Recuperator
The recuperator is incorporated within the burner assembly, reducing the need for a separate heat-recovery system.
Compact InstallationFlue-Gas Heat Recovery
Hot exhaust gases are used to preheat incoming combustion air, improving fuel efficiency.
Enhanced Energy EfficiencySilicon Carbide Heat Exchanger
The heat exchanger is made using silicon carbide to improve efficiency and heat-exchanger life.
Reliable Furnace PerformanceGrooved Heat-Exchange Surface
The grooved surface increases heat-transfer area, supporting better heat-exchanger performance.
Lower Operating CostPulse Firing Mode
The burner operates in pulse firing mode, or ON/OFF control, for controlled furnace operation.
Reduced EmissionsHydrogen-Ready Compatibility
The burner is positioned for applications transitioning towards cleaner hydrogen fuel pathways, subject to application requirements.
Cleaner Fuel ReadinessBuilt for furnaces where space and efficiency both matter.
Self Recuperative Burners are especially suited for heat treatment furnaces and other industrial heating applications where available space is limited.
They are useful where conventional regenerative burner systems cannot be easily installed, but where energy recovery and fuel reduction remain important.

Recover. Preheat. Fire. Save.
The burner recovers heat from the exhaust side and transfers it to the combustion-air side through the integrated heat exchanger.
The incoming air is preheated before combustion, reducing the fuel required to achieve operating temperature.
